Dr John Murphy
M.B B.CH. N.U.I B.DENT.SCI. T.C.D. B.AQualified as a medical doctor from UCD in 1982 and practices conventional and complimentary medicine in a holistic dental practice. Graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1988. He has extensive experience with Cosmetic, Holistic, sedation and orthodontic Dentistry and has featured on all of the TV3 series off ‘Inside and Out’ about changing people from within. He practices mercury- safe dentistry as oppose to ‘mercury free’. He has very strong opinions on mercury toxicity and he has not placed amalgam fillings in over 20years. At least 80% of all illnesses /diseases have an oral cavity dimension.
Dr Mihir Patel
M.D Denthas joined the practice since Jan 2014. He studied dentistry in Charles University in Prague. He is originally from London. Mihir is a friendly, compassionate dentist that likes to keep up to date with the latest technologies in Dentistry and continuing education. His interests are reading, music, films and walking his dog.
Catherine Meeke
Dental HygienistCatherine has been working within the holistic team since John opened the practice over 20 years ago. Catherine’s father was a dentist and had his own surgery in Sandycove. Catherine first studied dental nursing in the Dental hospital where she gained her passion for dental . This led her to study the hygienist course in Scotland where, she gained the ability to assess patients, identify oral diseases, recognize systemic influences within the body, and help patients make choices that would affect their health..
Lettie
Dental NurseLettie is a valued member of our team and is very popular with our patients. She is very experienced and has practiced as a dental nurse for over 20 years. Lettie has a special interest in Oral Surgery and Implantology nursing. She is compassionated, with a friendly and enthusiastic approach to her work.

Dental NurseKim has just completed her dental nursing course in trinity, she is an enthusiastic person and loves helping patients she has a passion for her work and has a kind , caring way attitude always smiling and laughing
Dervla
Office ManagerDervla joined our practise over 4 years ago and is the office manager .She is responsible for the day to day running, and business side of the practice. She received her dental nursing diploma in 2015 and completed her Oral Health Promotion course in 2016.
Renata
Surgery ReceptionistRenata joined our practise in 2016 and is the practice receptionist. She is a very popular member of the dental team and also with our patients. As a mum of two young children she is an active team member in educating early-age and young children in appropriate preventative and oral hygiene techniques.
